Alyce has a background in architecture and graphic design. She finds inspiration from subversive counter-culture, admiring the work of street artists, industrial designers, tattoo artists and typographers.
Under the pseudonym, Micha – her work often features a juxtaposition of beauty and repulsion, asking the viewer to examine and reassess their interpretation of language, culture and style.
Alyce has a deep passion for the urban arts, playing an active role in supporting and building on the community. She was a founding force behind organising the “Commit No Nuisance” series of live art battles; focused on showcasing and discovering the best local artists. She has appeared in multiple group exhibitions and solo exhibitions, most recently at Backwood’s gallery.
