Independent Artist Application
We’ve got 80 spaces set aside for independent artists. Each area is concept designed based on why you want to get involved (back on that old ‘space that engages in a dialogue with the work’ chestnut). If you tell us more about the why, we’ll set out to provide you with the best space possible.
Artists need to be present for both weekends of the festival selling work to the public – you’ll get a shit load more out if it, trust us. The festival is open to the public on the following dates; Thursday 20th – Sunday 23rd & Thursday 27th – Saturday 29th Feb (followed by a massive closing party)! Make sure to mark it in the dairy.
You get a minimum of 5m2 which will cost $500 per artist, plus a commission on artwork sales. This fee reflects our objective to show the most ground-breaking artists, not just those who can afford to participate.
You’ll gain access to an audience of up to of 30,000 festival enthusiasts, including new buyers, gallerists, curators and critics. There will be PR and marketing opportunities in the lead up and during the festival, as well as the opportunity to meet and hang out with other talented urban artists.
Artists will be selected by our experienced industry panel.
